I worked for the State of Iowa for 20 years and separated with them after a major car accident causing health problems. While recuperating I worked with my sister for her successful cleaning and landscaping business (Cleanscape LLC) out of Tiffin Iowa as her office manager and lead. The Iowa City area is home of the University of Iowa; the clientele ranged from Doctors, Lawyers, Dentists to students-Graduates and Undergraduates. We provided services for turn-over when students would move out of the dorms and apartments by contract to the complexes and by private hire. Cleanscape also provides cleaning services for move outs, deep cleans, weekly cleans, bi-weekly cleans and monthly cleans. I own Stephanie's Housekeeping and Cleaning Services-Residenial and Small Commercial Businesses. *If you are requesting organization and declutter-this involves your direct involvement-I will not remove anything without your direct given permission or move it from an area. This is only a task I can do if you plan to assist in. **I do clean baseboards by wiping down baseboards and trim, however I do not wash walls as I will not be responsible for damage to paint and or texture on walls. (Please contact a painter/painter repair) **We do not clean carpets (Please contact a carpet cleaning service) or outside windows. I do not clean ceiling fans or light fixtures on tall ceilings requiring anymore than a 4- step step-stool. Cleaning time frames: Average 2 bed 1.5 bath Standard Clean on a weekly clean home with 1 person takes a minimum 3 of hours, if you want the job done and done correctly-all surface touched and out the door. A home that requires anytime of service where the cleaner is having to pick up toys, do additional tasks like laundry, Windows, grout in shower (add an hour to each bathroom); these are deep cleans. If your house has not been cleaned on a daily or weekly basis by you or someone else it is a deep clean. A 2 bed 1.5 bath will take 8 billable hours to complete for a deep clean. If a cleaner can complete the task before then, then you should only be billed for what they cleaned for. (Size is for reference. Please book the size of your home accordingly If you want your home cleaned and completed. If you do not book enough hours, I will clean accordingly and leave you notes with what I accomplished and what is yet to be done. We can discuss at that time If you wish for me to finish the job or if you would like for me to rebook) (Cleaning in ovens, cleaning windows, cleaning in windows frames and sills. Cleaning out refrigerators, cupboards, drawers, etc. are not part of a standard clean or of a deep clean, those are added requests. Baseboards are in general not standard clean however if accessible I do hit them when it it is a clutter free home. Please remember these extras take extra time so book accordingly. Any time I walk into a home for the first time, I will do an all over deep clean, especially if your home was not cleaned by a professional recently. Please do not book me for 3 hours and expect me to have your home cleaned-standard or any type of combination standard/deep clean of a kitchen or bathroom in that amount of time if you home has more than one bedroom and one bath. An average kitchen (clean) and decluttered bathroom each takes approximately 1 hour without cleaning the oven internally. I have multiple cleanings through Homeaglow and through my private business in one day; most often I can not stay longer than time booked and will require a reschedule for additional days. So please book enough hours. If you need to request more hours or would like to discuss more hours please send me a message. Thank you!
