If your client requests more time, you can update the duration of the job from your dashboard or your app to reflect the extra hours added. You will be paid for them at the hourly rate that you set.

If you're using the Homeaglow for Cleaners app:

  1. Go to the 'My Jobs' tab and select your appointment with your client.
  2. Tap on 'Manage Job'.
  3. Select either 'Reschedule' or 'Cancel job'. This will direct you to a new window where you can make changes to the job.
  4. Tap on the duration field, and select your appointment's new duration.
  5. Once you're done, tap on the 'Save Changes'
  6. When a pop-up window appears, tap on 'Yes, client approved.'

If you're using your browser:

  1. Go to your dashboard and select your appointment with your client.
  2. Click 'View / Edit Details'
  3. Under 'Edit Date, Time, & Hours', change the duration to reflect the number of hours that you've worked.
  4. Once you're done, click 'Save Changes'.
  5. When a pop-up window appears, tap on 'Yes, client approved.'

Important Reminder: Please make sure that your client has agreed to be charged extra. Unauthorized changes may lead to account deactivation.


To make sure that your hours are recorded accurately, we encourage you to download the Homeaglow for Cleaners app, which has a built-in GPS feature that automatically documents your arrival and departure times. Once you’ve downloaded the app, follow the steps below to enable your Location settings:

For IOS devices:

  • Go to the app’s ‘My account’ tab.
  • Select ‘Notifications’ > ‘Location’ and tap ‘Always’.

For Android devices:

  • Go to the app’s ‘My account’ tab.
  • Select ‘Notifications’ > ‘Permissions’ > ‘Location’ > and tap ‘Allow all the time’.

Once this feature is enabled, click the ‘Send ETA’ button on the app before going to your jobs. This will ensure that your worked hours are properly recorded, especially in the case of client disagreements. Please note that you must click the ‘Send ETA’ button to trigger your app’s GPS feature.
